CCPA Compliance

CoinProven is committed to respecting the privacy rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page explains how we comply with these laws and how you can exercise your rights.

Scope and Applicability

The CCPA/CPRA applies to California residents and grants them specific rights regarding their personal information. While CoinProven does not require user registration or maintain a database of personally identifiable information, we may collect certain data through automated means such as cookies, web beacons, and server logs when you visit our site. This includes IP addresses, browser type, pages viewed, and usage patterns.

Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA

As a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: You can request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. While CoinProven does not sell personal information for monetary consideration, we may use third-party analytics tools that could be interpreted as sharing under CPRA. You may exercise this right using the link below.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: You will not be denied services, charged different prices, or receive a different quality of service for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.
  • Right to Authorize an Agent: You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. We may require proof of your identity and the agent’s authorization.

How We Comply

CoinProven does not collect, store, or process personal information through user accounts or forms. We rely on anonymized analytics and aggregated data for site performance and content improvement. We do not retain personally identifiable data beyond what is necessary for operational purposes, and we do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA. We honor all valid consumer requests and maintain internal procedures to verify identity and fulfill rights.

Data We Process

The personal information we may collect includes:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Cookie identifiers and tracking pixels
  • Geolocation data (approximate, based on IP)

This data is used solely for analytics, site optimization, and delivering relevant content. It is not linked to your name, email, or other identifying details.

Legal Basis for Processing

Under CCPA/CPRA, we process data based on legitimate business purposes, including website functionality, security, analytics, and improving user experience. We do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing under CCPA, as it is not required for non-sale activities.
